Introducing Alice Inuy
Born in São Paulo, in 1995, Alice began dancing at the age of 9, taking tap dance classes and then moved on to classical ballet at Ballet Márcia Lago. At the age of 12 she decided to pursue dance as a career.
She took part in prestigious competitions such as the Youth America Grand Prix, which she participated 3 years in a row and was offered summer courses scholarships.
At the age of 18 she participated in the English National Ballet School’s summer course and then was offered a place for the following year in the school program. Where, in 2015 she graduated as a professional ballet dancer.
Since then Alice worked with Cisne Negro Dance Company (São Paulo) in their traditional production of The Nutcracker, where she performed the roles of Clara and Snow Queen.
Alice then moved to Buenos Aires to work with the former principal of The Royal Ballet, Iñaki Urlezaga at Ballet Nacional Argentino. There she performed ballets such as Serenade by George Balanchine (4 Russian girls), Act 3 Raymonda (fouetté variation), Swan Lake (pas de trois and pas de quatre) and La Traviatta. Still in Argentina she performed Don Quixote with Teatro Argentino de La Plata and La Casa de Bernarda Alba com Compañía Danza Argentina.
In 2018 Alice went back to her home school where she started teaching ballet classes and discovered a new passion. In 2019 she joined Teatrul de Balet Sibiu.

Alice has a dog that she loves very much. His name is Bambu, and she adopted him in Buenos Aires and took him to São Paulo by plane! She plans on bringing Bambu to Sibiu when possible! You can follow bambu on Instagram @bambuzera
