Introducing Ella Puurtinen
Born in Savonlinna, Finland, Ella started her ballet studies at the Savonlinna Music and Dance Institute. At the age of 15 she moved to Helsinki to study ballet at a vocational level at the Finnish National Ballet School. She spent one year at the Vaganova Ballet Academy during her studies in Helsinki and graduated from the Finnish National Ballet School in spring 2017.
After her graduation she was offered a contract at the Finnish National Ballet Youth Company. During her time in the company she had the chance to dance classical ballets including Giselle, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Don Quixote.
Ella joined Teatrul De Balet Sibiu in 2019.
