Introducing Hideki Yasumura
Born in Okinawa Japan in 1999 Hideki started ballet at Sachiko Nanjo Ballet School in Okinawa at age of 3.
When Hideki was 15, at the Japan Grand Prix, he was offered a scholarship to study in The School of Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier, Germany, where he studied for 3 years and completed his professional education.
During his time in Hamburg, Hideki was an artist for many performances with Hamburg Ballett such as, ‘Lady of the Camelias,’ ‘Nijinsky,’ ‘Anna Karenina,’ ‘Peer Gynt,’ ‘Giselle’ choreographed by John Neumeier and also toured to Baden-Baden in Germany and Kyoto Tokyo in Japan.
Hideki joined Teatrul de Balet Sibiu from 2018 and has since performed roles such a Pas d’action in La Bayadere.
Past prizes include:
2015 NBA All Japan Competition junior 1st place
2014 Japan Grand Prix junior 2nd place
2014 JBA All Japan Ballet Competition junior 3rd place
