Introducing Myrna Squire
Born in Regina Sk, Canada, Myrna’s earliest memories are of going to the theatre. Her grandmother was a dancer for movie musicals and Mexican folklore but she had studies ballet in the conservatory when she was a child. At the age of three she was put into her first ballet lesson.
After graduating from Quinte Ballet School of Canada, Myrna travelled with Alberta Ballet when they toured with Serenade, by George Balanchine and she also danced with Ballet David Campos in Barcelona and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens before joining Teatrul de Balet Sibiu in 2013.
Career highlights include dancing the principal role in Misa Profana by Sergiu Anghel and performing the role Clara in the Nutcracker. Myrna has travelled with the company on tour to Italy several times aswell as Luxanburg, France and South Korean.
She has choreographed three times for Teatrul de Balet Sibiu. In 2016 the sense of smell in “Senses” in 2017 ‘Latinikitika’ and in 2018 Por Amor.
