Introducing Antonin Faraut
Antonin Faraut was born in Toulon, France. He practiced ballet in Marseille at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille where he trained for seven years. He then moved to London at English National Ballet School where he trained for two years. There, he had the chance to take part in the „Nutcracker” production of English National Ballet in December 2016 and the contemporary piece „Pas de Danse”, choreographed by Mats Ek, for the English National Ballet School Summer Showcase of 2017.
Antonin Faraut took part of the „Nutcracker” Production of the Sibiu Ballet Theatre in December 2017 for the international tour in South Korea. He then joined the company in January 2018 and danced for the national tours in Romania (Otopeni, Slatina, Turda). He performed role like Pas de Trois of „Legături” and Pas de Trois of „Straussiana”. In the season 2019/ 2020, he also did his debut as Rothbart from the famous ballet „Swan Lake” and the „Lacrimosa” pas de deux from the Romanian choreography, „Barococo Party”.
You may not know: Thanks to his parents, Antonin had the chance to travel a lot and he likes to visit countries and discover different cultures, traditions, and lifestyle. Antonin likes to watch Netflix over the Weekend or going out in Sibiu with his friends. He is really interested in Science, History and Religions. Antonin speaks fluently French and English.
