Introducing Charlotte Lanning
Charlotte was born in Silver Spring, Maryland USA and started dancing at the age of seven after being inspired by a musical on television. Charlotte trained with Michael Bjerknes of the American Dance Institute, Dawei Zhang of the Shanghai Ballet, and Elizabeth Shipiatsky of Classical Ballet of Colorado and received her diploma from The Classical Ballet of Colorado.
She then went on to dance with Colorado Ballet, Victor Ullate Ballet of Madrid, Ballet Spartanburg, and American Contemporary Ballet in Los Angeles before joining Teatrul de Balet Sibiu in 2016.
Career highlights include Summer Fairy in Cinderella, Soloist in Paquita, Pas de deux Corzi, Pas de deux Freedom, Big Swan in Swan Lake, and dancing the Pas de Deux from La Sylphide in the European Dance Gala.
Charlotte was accepted to summer programs with the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Canada’s National Ballet School and was invites to perform the Dying Swan in a performance in Virginia USA.
