Introducing Anna Pasello

Anna Pasello was born in Padova, Italy. At 6 years old she started artistic gymnastic and then moved to ballet at 8. 

In 2016 Anna moved to Germany, to study at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst-Akademie des Tanzes in Mannheim. In 2016 and 2017 she was chosen by the director of the company “Ballett am Rhein” in Düsseldorf (Germany) to perform Balanchine’s “Mozartiana” with the company.

In 2018, under a scholarship, Anna moved to study at Elmhurst Ballet School, the associated school of Birmingham Royal Ballet, in Birmingham (UK).

In 2019  studied at “Kiev choreography college” in Kiev (Ukraine) for few months, where she had the opportunity to perform the soloist role of the Pas de trois from the first act of Swan Lake and the Nutcracker at the Kiev National Opera House and at the Dnipropetrovsk Opera House in Dnepr (Ukraine).

In 2020 she moved back to finish her studies at the Akademie des Tanzes in Mannheim, where she graduated in July 2021.

In September 2021, Anna joined Sibiu Ballet Theatre, where she had the opportunity to perform “Fragile” choreographed by Aleisha Gardner. 

You may not know:
Anna loves travelling and visiting new cities, learning new languages (she studied German, English and Russian), reading, going to practice alone in the studio and spending time with her family.

Her favourite ballet is Don Quixote.
