Introducing FRANCO CUBERO ACOSTA
Born in Villa Clara, Cuba, Franco started dancing at the age of 9 with Eva Olga Alonso González Dance School and at the age of 15 he joined Vicentina de la Torre Academy of Arts in Camaguey where he finished his professional studies.
He joined the Ballet of Camaguey in 2017 where he preformed soloist roles in classical repertoire such as „Esmeralda”, „Bayadera”, Pas de Trois in „Swan Lake”, Sylvia Pas de Deux in „Paquita”, „The Nutcracker” Pas de Deux, Majisimo, Flower Festival in Genzano and also performed principal role Gilberto from „Flames of Paris”. He participated in different neo-classical and contemporary pieces of the company such as „Bolero”, „Sui Generis”, „Aguffá” and others.
He joined Sibiu Ballet Theatre in 2019 where he participated as corps the ballet in the production of „Swan Lake”, „The Nutcracker” and also performed Arabian Soloist in „The Nutcracker”. He has been part in different choreographies of the company and Galas de Ballet.
