Introducing Manuel Sanchez
He was born in Badajoz, Spain. Manuel started dancing when he was 7 years old with ballroom dance and Latin dance, winning national, European and International awards.
At the age of 13 he got a scholarship to go to study in Madrid with Ion Beitia. Later Ion Betia passed away and at that age he was a little lost and worried, but he wanted to dance and at the age of 14 he met José Antonio Checa, who offered him a scholarship and continued training with him. With José, he presented himself to several national classical competitions such as Torrelavega, Santander, Spain where he took second place and a third place in the International classical ballet competition Tamzolymp, Belín.
In 2018 he entered English National Ballet School, where he was able to dance blue bird from Sleeping beauty and other neoclassical choreographies. With the English National Ballet company he danced Nutcracker and Cinderella.
From the English National Ballet School he graduated in 2020.
After COVID he returned to José Antonio Checa where he was able to participate in various shows doing Corsaire, paquita, among other classical and contemporary ballet.
In September 2021 he joined the Sibiu Ballet Theatre company and he is very happy to continue learning, dancing and growing.

Manuel loves spending time with his family and friends in his spare time, choreographing, and watching movies and tv series to relax. Apart from going out to dance Latin dances and ballroom dances.
One of his favorite ballets is Le Corsaire and the bayadere, among others as choreographies by William Forsythe.
